Well, after having trouble with my DVD editor and making "fancy" menus for the TSA Bash 2009 video, I decided to stick with the simple menu. For some reason, the simple one works on all the DVD players I test it on, and the "fancy" one doesn't. It works on about half. It probably depends on how new the DVD player is. Today's going to be a busy day. Not only is there a lot of stuff to do at work, but I'm going to get packed for the Bash this weekend. Yay! Hopefully all goes well.

Late last night, I got home from the Bash in Toronto. The Bash was great, and I had an excellent time. Eventually I may get around to writing more about it (I still need to write about the trip to the Southwest,) but not now since I'm quickly checking email and stuff while packing before I head off on another trip to Fort Smith for a 4th of July

I made it home! Woohoo! I had a great time at the Bash. (It should be interesting editing video this time since I have over eight hours of footage.) I arrived at a decent time on the June 30. The drive was pretty nice especially since I had Narnia audio books and Harry Potter and Wheel of Time podcasts to keep me awake ( Read more... )

It sure it early. :( I'm going to head out toward Cincinnati in a little bit, and I hope the drive is uneventful. I'm mostly hoping that there are plenty of places to stop so I can walk around for a while to wake up. I have some audio books and my iPod to keep me company.

About a month ago, I had tested my new DVD burner and my new video editing/DVD writing software to burn the Bash video onto a DVD. It worked great! It even worked in my player downstairs that didn't work with my old burner's DVDs. So, today, I decided to fix the menu of the DVD and burn that. I'm mostly finished with the Bash 2005 video. Finally. I'm going to go back and double check some stuff, but it's mostly done. This time, I'm going to put it on DVD instead of VHS. I tested the video on my new burner, and it actually played in my DVD player in my living room. DVDs made from my old burner would work up until a certain time ( Read more... )
